Greg Nelson is a nationally recognized expert and a sought after speaker with experience in leadership and executing strategy. For more than 30 years, Greg's passion has been working with leaders to achieve and sustain operational excellence. In the last few years, Greg has been honored to speak to over 60,000 health care professionals and leaders.

A respected and well-received speaker, Greg's presentation style combines down-to-earth enthusiasm, knowledge and humor with practical solutions to the challenges facing today's leaders in health care. Greg began his career in health care in the mid '70s, working in behavioral health with a health system in Ohio. In the mid '80s, he spearheaded their focus on the patients to drive effective business strategies. The experience also drove his passion for leadership development.
Formerly the Vice President and founder of the Health Care Group at Development Dimensions International and subsequently a national speaker for the renowned Studer Group, Greg is a proven leader. In addition to health care experience, his strategic thinking and visionary ideas have helped both for-profit and not-for-profit groups in numerous industries, including banking, financial services, government agencies, education, manufacturing and professional trade associations.

Greg has written several articles for national publications and co-authored the book, Zapp! Empowerment in Health Care. Greg has been invited to present at AONE, the Press Ganey client conference, SHRM's annual conference, the Jackson Organization client conference, Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association, ASHHRA's annual meeting, HCA's national CFO and HR Directors conferences, ACHE and leadership retreats throughout the United States.

His passion speaks volumes on such topics as leadership, core competencies, accountability, executing strategy, managing change, generational differences and filling the leadership gap.
